Surviving the Holidays seminar

This year the seminar material will be covered during the regular Monday
meeting on November 14, from 7-9 p.m.

This seminar gives practical advice on dealing with grief and the holidays.  There's a 40 minute video followed by a time of group discussion.

Who Is on the Video?

You’ll see interviews with Lois Rabey, Dr. Robert De Vries, Dr. Susan Zonnebelt-Smeenge, Sabrina Black, Sue Lutz, H. Norman Wright, Dr. Paul Tripp and others. In addition, you’ll hear many personal testimonies of people who’ve faced the holidays while grieving.

What Topics Are Covered?

At a Surviving the Holidays session, participants will discover practical answers to these and other questions:
•Is it normal to feel so depressed during the holidays?
•How do I deal with the pain of the holidays?
•How do I decide what activities I’ll participate in this holiday season?
•Should I accept or decline invitations to holiday parties?
•What should I do if I get emotional at a party or event?
•How can God and others help me this holiday season?
•Will I ever enjoy the holidays again?

No cost or registration required.
